Cleansers that have improved my skin

4 September 2016
Its been a while since I posted about anything beauty related, or posted anything at all in fact. Its been a rocky road for the past few months and I haven't been feeling it so I gave my personal hobbies a break so I could concentrate on looking after myself a bit more. My skin was looking drab and lifeless with more breakouts than I have ever experienced and it was really getting me down. What you learn through your 20s is that having good skincare is a much better life decision than having the best makeup on the market. So here are my top 4 picks that I have been loving the past few months.
Chidem Vitamin Cream Cleanser / For radiance, firmness & sensitive skin

I found this in a my draw as I was having a sort out and have been addicted to it ever since. Vitamin based skincare has always been a hit with my face, it really does take to it like a duck to water. Vitamin C is especially a firm favourite with my 26 yr old skin. Its really helped with minimising my spots and imperfections, with my skin feeling freshly clean and radiant after every wash. This was actually gifted to me at a Blogger event and I'm so grateful as this is always the best way to discover new brands. Its not the cheapest in the cleansing world but at £36.50 I personally feel like it is totally worth it, plus the packaging is something you can proudly keep on your bathroom sink.

I massage 2 pumps of this into my face with a dab of water and wipe it away with a muslin cloth, first with warm water and second with cold to close those pores. The smell isn't going to wow you but it has a naturalness to it which is bearable once you get used to it. Great for sensitive skin and perfect for a wiping away all the dirt from the day without feeling dried out .

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser / For clearing pores and dirt

I happened to pick this up when I was buying some Biore nose strips at Boots. It was on offer at the time, costing only £3.75 (originally £5.24) so I thought it was a good one to try considering it was quite cheap and stated it was great for pores. Charcoal based products are proving quite popular at the moment, especially when its in its natural form as it can transform your skin by drawing out dirt from deep down or whitening that smile. Since using this is have noticed a difference, my skin feels so much cleaner after each use and my pores have minimised in size.

I use this in the same was as all my cleansers, as this is my favourite way to clean my face. The gel consistency feels soft on the skin and I love the minty fresh feeling of this on my face once I have washed this off, although it can give quite a tight feeling after use so make sure you give it a moisturise. It states to use this everyday but I have oily/normal skin so I only use this a couple times a week to make sure this doesn't dry me out.

La Roche-Posay purifying gel / For a excess sebum & acne prone skin

I use this cleanser on days when I need a thorough clean. You know those days where your face feels gross and you want to get every ounce of make up off and feel fresh. This foams up really well so it does just what I need. With added thermal spring water this makes a great cleanser for sensitive skin. This active water helps to soothe the skin and acts as an anti-irrirant so there should be no cause for concern on this reacting with your delicate skin.

As I have normal cheeks I tend to concentrate this on my t-zone where I get the biggest build up of sebum on my face. I add product to my hands and add a little water, foam it up in my hands before I apply it to my face. This helps with the control of the foam so you can concentrate it on the areas you need it the most. You can either splash your face with water afterwards or use a muslin cloth to wipe it away. This retails at £11 in Boots, which is mid-range for a cleanser but you can find it on offer for around £7 most of the time so keep an eye out on the skincare deals.

InsitU cosmetics face scrub / Made for you (personalised)

I came across this brand at a blogger event and what attracted me to it first of all was that I could get it personalised with my name and product based on my personal preferences. Now I have one of those names that is spelt differently from what you find in the shops, Im sure you can guess I got a little bit over excited at this prospect. InsitU is on the pricer side of skincare but I think its totally worth getting if you have the budget, even if its one thing. This particular one retails at £31 and I have since noticed they have improved the formula and it now comes with a natural loofa to help those pesky dry patches.

When choosing your skincare you have a few options to choose from. Picking if you want a moisturiser, cleanser etc is your first call but then you get to make it your own. Adding in your name to get written on the bottle is the first thing, you then decide what mood boost you want added to the product, you then tick what kind of skin you have before finally telling then your biggest skin concern. This then gets made and delivered to your house for you to use.

I love to use this with my cleansers for an added boost of exfoliation. As I have sensitive skin Im always aware about being careful with exfoliators as I tend to react to them. This is an exception so I have been sticking with this for a long time. My skin feels so smooth afterwards, giving my skin a dry free complexion.

I hope this has been helpful to some of you with your with skincare problems. Just know that one cleanser/toner doesn't fit all and mix it up and I have found using the same one day in day out doesn't always benefit you. Especially being a girl with ever changing hormones with my acne prone skin. I'm still on my way to achieving the skin of my dreams but just making sure you wash every night before you go to bed and give your face a cleanse in the morning, you will quickly notice a difference if you don't do this already.

Enjoy your week!

Mazuri Shea Naturals Review

22 November 2015

Want to tame that outer animal frizz that creeps up on us all, daily! Those days where you get out of bed wondering how just sleeping in a bed, not moving (or so you think) can create such a knotty mess? Strand by strand you brush through your hair hoping for your fairy god mother to appear to give you a helping hand. Well I have a fairy god mother I want to share with you all....

Mazuri Shea Butter Naturals is your new best friend. Effortless and easy to use but with all the benefits a few trips to the salon, would give you. Full of natural ingredients so there are no concerns about adding lots of artificial ingredients onto your hair, these products are pretty wonderful.

I got sent the untangling spray and the leave in oil moisturiser to test out and if you can't already tell. I'm really impressed! Now I can be quite slack on giving my hair the care it needs but I have sinced noticed a massive difference in hair breakage and dry ends from not treating my hair with some love, but that has now changed...

I use the Mazuri Untangling Spray after I have washed my hair to protect, moisturise, de-frizz and untangle with ease, its also great to use as a leave in conditioner. Look at that triple action! Apply when damp and brush through, blow dry or air dry if you have time and your ready for the day. My hair has been so much softer and smoother since, feeling like a l'oreal hair model when it blows in the wind, or so I think.

I then add in a pea sized amount of leave in moisturiser through the ends of my hair once dry to smooth down any fly aways. This also states to help promote hair growth which I personally haven't noticed yet as my hair does grow quite quickly, but if your having trouble and you want to grow those luscious locks that would make Rapunzel jealous then get your hands on these.

I use the detangling pray about four times and week and I add in the leave in moisturiser about twice a week, especially now the weather is becoming a lot colder, which can cause a lot of damage to the hair, and girl you got parties to go to. A volumous, tamed main is what we all need!

If you have dryer hair then I would use recommend to use it more often to begin with and as your hair becomes more manageable then you can use them less frequently and spend more time showing everyone what you got! You can pick these up in your local Tesco for around £6 a bottle but for something so natural, I would say that are worth every penny.

So heres to fabulous hair, full of life, personality and va-va-voom!
Now go, do you!

Duvet day with Tanya Burr

13 October 2015
Today I wanted to share with you a recent make up release I have been lusting over, the new and improved Tanya Burr cosmetics line. Now I have been following Tanyas footsteps for years now so I am and always will be a proud 'fan' of hers and seeing as she is my age I always feel I can relate to her.

I am a packaging designer by day so these things dont go unnoticed fby me and it is usually a reason I will pick something up. I love the fact she has considered her target market but given it a grown up edge for those like me who are on 'team overs' (luckily without Simon Cowell I might add) with the metallic accents and simple typography. I thought I would pick up a couple of pieces to try and to see how they faired on a day to day basis as I know she is a perfectionist so I trusted that these would be nothing but spectacular.
 Hollywood eye palette
Some of the main products that intrigued me the most in this collection was the new additions to her line, the eye palettes. Now I'm getting to the point in my life where I want to try and nail an everyday smoky eye look that will take less than five minutes while I ponder over twitter in the morning. I thought this gorgeous golden toned palette 'Hollywood' over all the rest would give me the best chance at achieving my goal and so it quickly went into my basket.

The eyes shadows are velvety to the touch and have a beautiful colour pay off. They all work together like bees on a summers morning, seamlessly blending into each other like melted chocolate. A must have for the bronzed goddess look which will last you throughout summer and autumn, just as the leaves are turning golden and the morning sky is shining behind the trees.
The base colours work best applied with your fingers and softly worked into the skin with a clean fluffy brush. Creating a smoky eye is effortless and with little practice that perfection I want to achieve in the mornings will be a distant thought. Some colours are quite sheer on first application but are perfect to build up to the desired consistency, especially if you are practising eye looks.

Gold coin has to be my favourite colour (top right) from the palette, as it looks so elegant when worn alone with a nice layer of mascara and an inner corner highlight. I can see this being a keeper in my everyday palette collection as the versatility of it is just perfect for me.
The next purchase I made was of a nail polish. Now I am a hoarder of sorts when it comes to nail colour. They are so cheap and easy to store that I just cant help my hands gravitating towards them every time I step into a drugstore. Now, if you see me on a daily basis at the moment you will notice I look the same most days. Not because I decide to wear the same clothes every time I step into my wardrobe, but I have a new undying love for the colour grey.
Duvet Day £4.99
I know its possible I look like a rain cloud floating through London on my way to work every week but I just can not help myself. Black just isn't me anymore, and it took me a while to realise that it accentuated my RBF (resting bitch face) more than I would have liked. So when I saw this on the shelves with its shimmering gold lid, muted tone and perfect name 'Duvet Day' I just couldn't say no. I would have been like visiting Battersea cats and dogs home without bringing back a new best friend. Sorry Christian, I have a new love now.

Do have a peak next time your in Superdrug, you might be surprised. Congratulations to Tanya too for all the hard work and dedication into making something you truly have a passion about. This is one for the women out there.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my post this week. Do keep me up to date on any new purchases you have made recently and do let me know I'm not the only one in the grey gang this year.

See you next time

New Nudes by Rimmel

5 September 2015
Today is all about the nudes. Beautiful creamy tones that reflect the morning sky on an autumn morning. Subtle hues that enhance your complexion like a sparkling diamond in those bright down lights, that you can not help but stare at. These are the kinds of colours that suit all skin tones in a matter of ways. Pairing these with copper and gold tones make the perfect combination for an everyday makeup look and Rimmel are kicking ass in this spectrum of colour right now.
First up we have the forever known and highly popular lipsticks by the style queen herself, Kate. These are long lasting and look perfect on everyone I have seen them on and who better to support the fans of nude, than Kate herself. Rimmel have a variety of shades to suit all skin tones and I felt the 45 lasting perfection lippy was the one for me. This is a nude that looks different on everyone and in different lights too. It can look more pink in bright lights and muted in dim but always perfection on the lips.

The nude Salon Pro nail polish then caught my eye and I always love to buy beauty purchases in pairs. This is Mistify Me, an all button mushroom colour that will gracefully coat your nails in a loving hue, complimenting your complexion like your best friend. Chic yet sophisticated when paired with any outfit and perfect for that minimalistic look we all hope to achieve on a daily basis.
Welcome to the world of nudes, a world where Kim K graces the lands that I now need to be part of. Embrace your inner chic and pick some products up next time you pop by your local drugstore. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

Summer Favourite - No7 BB Cream

15 August 2015

I'm going through one of those stages at the moment where I hate the feel of makeup on my face. As soon as I have foundation on my skin I want to take it off and I think this is because I have started going to the gym in the mornings without makeup on and it feels invigorating to not have to worry about what you look like in front of strangers.

On my weekly hunt in Boots for makeup, which is one of my favourite things to do. I tweeted and asked if anyone had an foundation recommendations for oily/sensitive skin. Someone mentioned about the No7 foundation as they loved the coverage. I went to check out the stall, not because of the coverage but because I had completely forgot about the brand. I completely love their advertising but in terms of in store stand out, I never gravitate towards it.
As I was having a little browse, this little number caught my eye. Now I have never been a fan of BB creams in the past as they are always way too orange for my fairly pale skin tone, plus the consistencies of them can be a bit off putting. I gave the little tester a go and the colour didn't seem too bad and the consistency was velvety smooth.

Since that day I have been in love. Now for a pale girl, the colour can seem quite dark but I have actually been mixing this with 'Wake me up' concealer for a radiant glow and it has made the perfect tone for me. The coverage is enough to even out my skin tone but not too much so I feel I have a lot on my skin. It has UV protection, which is always a plus side for me and it hasn't given me any breakouts yet which is a no1 win in my books.

I have just been blending this onto my skin with my fingers, adding a touch of concealer on my breakouts with a dash of highlighting blush and a lashing of mascara, oh and lets not forget the brows. Hello no makeup, makeup look in just a few easy steps! The BB cream blends really nicely and doesn't have too much of a fragrance. I would say it smells like moisturiser which is quite a nice smell to me. There are also two other types of this BB cream for normal and dry skin, so there is something to suit everyone.

What makeup have you been loving lately? I would love to hear any recommendations, especially with new launches.

Have a wonderful week!

Jewellery: Dolly Box

2 May 2015
Happy bank holiday weekend everyone! Spring has well and truly sprung and so I thought I would treat myself to a Dolly Box. This is a one off box subscription curated by Kate Murnane of 'Dolly Bow Bow' on YouTube, consisting of 4 everyday pieces of jewellery and one statement necklace. After seeing how beautiful the pieces are from her shop and the great taste she has in fashion, I just had to give it a go.

This spring the box was inspired by Paris which I didn't know until I received the box. I was really happy as I have wonderful memories of Paris and so wearing pieces that represent the wonderful city of love is just wonderful. The package comes in a black box (pictured above) with the cutest bow around it. Once opened the pieces are neatly displayed in sweet little pink bags.
The first piece I opened up was this adorable rose gold necklace of the Paris skyline. Rose gold is my new favourite colour of metal so I was really pleased with this.

I then opened up the cutest little silver earrings. They are inspired by the lovelock bridge and would look cute on any earlobes, the only problem you have is deciding what ear you put them on.

Next up was this beautiful rose gold heart ring, which you can wear with the necklace for a love inspired themed outfit. Its so dainty, it would look gorgeous layered with some other simple rings.
Last of the pink pouches was this yellow-gold bracelet with the French phrase 'je t'aime' which means 'I love you', how sweet. The only problem is that I have the smallest wrists in the world and its miles too big for me. I'm going to keep it non the less and see if theres some way of changing the chain to something I can alter.

I was really happy with all the pieces I received, not remembering there was another surprise awaiting my eyes. Behind the pale pink tissue paper a dainty chain was poking out. I lifted the paper to realise the most gorgeous statement necklace was waiting for me! I mean... look at this!

Light rose gold with flowers in the most amazing soft pink hues, its just too pretty! Perfect for pairing with a cute cream day dress to add some sparkle on a picnic date with your loved on by the eiffel tower! (breathe) It just makes me dream of wonderful memories with my favourite person! <3

The box is sold at £26.99 but as it included the statement necklace and as your getting another 4 pieces of hand selected jewellery on top of that, I feel like its a pretty good price. I was really happy with the selected items anyway and now that Kate has redesigned her website and business cards, I'm sure its going to be an even more exciting box to receive.

Thanks Kate for an amazing box. I look forward to the future subscriptions to come out. In the meantime check out her shop as there are some amazing pieces on there and I've just noticed a home where section which I need to grab a few pieces from quick!

I hope your enjoying your weekend and you enjoyed this post.
Let me know if there is anything you would like to see from me as I want to start getting back into
blogging again as I have missed it! I've just had other things I've had to deal with first :)

Lush at Easter

29 March 2015
I can't deny I have a big little obsession for Lush! I was never really interested a year or so ago as the smell used to give me a headache every time I went into the shop. The kind of scents I like and food I even like has changed quite a lot over the last few months and so I've been drawn to Lush more than ever before.

Knowing the easter stuff was now in store I had to pop in and see what goodies were available! There were quite a few new products, some I loved the smell of, others not so much so this is what I ended up coming away with.
'Bunch of Carrots' are super cute and make me feel really festive. You can get a good three baths out of these if you use a carrot in each bath. They have that typical sweet lush smell which fills your bathroom if you keep them in a little basket, just make sure not to eat them. I'm sure they don't taste as good.

'Fluffy Egg' is one of my favourites from the range as it smells like candyfloss which is a very similar smell to Snow Angel. Its very sweet but once mixed into the water it creates a wonderful scent. I also love the name of this bath bomb, it makes me think of my sister!
'Hoppity Poppity' is another fun little bath bomb that I had to pick up! Its so adorable for one but I also loved the fresh scent of this one. The herbal scent makes for a really relaxing bath as it fizzes away where the popping candy inside adds some fun and excitement to your bath time.

'Secret Garden' is a wonderful name for this bath bomb. It reminds me of the film that I used to love so much as a kid. Anything which relates to good memories in my lifetime is a winner for me. This has the wonderful smell of fresh flowers and roses! Perfect for a pick me up when you just want to wind down in the evenings, book in hand and the lights dimmed for that mood setting.
These have certainly given me some happiness while I've been using them, I'm just sad that I never saw any of the other bath bombs I have seen on the website like 'Harvey' the rabbit and 'Immaculate Eggception' so I'll just have to wait until the next range comes out. Definitely give Lush a go if you ever pop by one as it will change your bath times forever!

What has been your favourite from the easter Lush collection?
Happy Sunday! Its only a week to go until I can have an easter bath while easting a hot cross bun at the same time. Can you tell I'm excited?

First try... Bobbi Brown

5 March 2015
Hello there! You're probably wondering who I am as I have been away so long! Since the end of January I was away for two weeks as I won a Contiki trip to Asia, which was amazing! It was always something I have wanted to do and to be able to do it when I did, was perfect for me as I felt like I was having a mini quarter life crisis at the time. The trip really opened up some new doors for me and  helped me discover a few things about myself which I didn't know before. Two week was a perfect amount to be away but I don't feel like I have fully 'discovered' as much of myself as I want to just yet, so new trips are going to be planned soon!

I have been super busy since and have been trying to write posts for a while but I haven't had time as I have been ill and had too much life stuff to do. I dont want to have lots of excuses but this blog is for me and a hobby that I want to love and if I put too much pressure on myself I will begin to hate it, but I'm here now and I'm excited to be back!

To start my next post ( I am going to make ever effort to post at least once a week from now on) I am going to be talking about a beauty brand I shockingly haven't tried yet for some unknown reason. Thanks to my mum and sister for getting me these gifts I have finally been able to give some a try. I have to admit, as soon as I laid my eyes on them I became a little bit addicted. Not only are the products beautiful, with some gorgeous packaging but they apply lovely too!

This first product is one of Bobbi Browns staple beauty items, the shimmer blusher. This is the aptly named 'Coral' which is the perfect amount of pink to orange ratio on the cheek. Perfect for spring as it gives a beautiful golden glow to the cheeks with its golden flecks running throughout.

Next I got given some mini products, which included this mini lipgloss (too cute!), an eye cream which is below and a baby eye makeup remover which I am all more than happy with, mainly because I love mini anything! After using them for a while I think I'm going to have to pick up a bigger version of the eye cream as it feels wonderfully smooth and cooling on the eyes, although a small amount really goes a long way with this product so this one will last me a little longer yet. The lipgloss is a pretty shimmery colour and suits the blusher really well. The eye makeup remover is actually pretty good! I was worried about the oily consistency at first but it really helps to remove that stubborn mascara without scrubbing at your eye.

Last up is my favourite product from the bunch! I first of all wanted this purely because of the packaging!
I love the old school design of the crest on the outer packaging, embossed in gold and finished off with a faux ribbon design. Once you open the box you instantly fall in love! The wood effect packaging with the gold trim and simple type is just beautiful and something that could happily live on my dressing table. It took me a long time to actually use it as I didn't want to make any mark on it, but I finally caved in and was really happy with the result. The shimmer brick in 'Copper Diamond' itself is gorgeous! It highlights your face in such a way that your skin looks so glowing and healthy, you actually want people to look at you, a must have for the S/S months.

I hope you enjoyed a look into the beginning of my Bobbi Brown collection. I cant wait to add some more products to it, especially if the packaging is just as pretty. What products do you love from Bobbi Brown? I'd love to know any recommendations.

Now I've got the blogging bug back I'll be posting and interacting on social media a lot more from today. So watch this space for a lot more recipes, fashion posts, beauty and some DIYs in the next few months.

Review: Yes to...Moisturiser

15 November 2014
Today I want to share with you a moisturiser I have been loving lately. Since starting my blog 6 months ago I have started to really take care of my skin as my world has been opened up to such lovely products that I just need to try. For the longest time I have struggled to find the right products for my skin and I have oily/combination skin, especially on the t-zone. How is it possible to have an oily AND dry nose? Nothing has really worked in preventing the problem as of yet, but I am definitely on my way to achieving the skin I want.
I found this moisturiser while I was picking up some essentials in Boots. I was walking past the isle and spotted this brand with the weirdest ingredients in it. Tomatoes? and I'm going to put that on my face? I then noticed it was 97% natural which got the thumbs up from me. I was more intrigued than anything to see how the tomato extract could benefit my skin, so in my basket it went.

The three main ingredients in this to help with redness, inflammation and clogged pores are the tomatoes, which has fruit acids to help control the extra sebum in the skin, red tea which has great antioxidants and watermelon which helps to keep the moisture in your skin without stripping it bare and causing more dry patches, which a lot of combination products can do.

Since first use of this moisturiser I have been impressed. First off the smell of the product is amazing as its smells quite fresh but with a fruity undertone, not too overpowering either. I added a pump to my hands after cleansing and rubbed in circular motions around my face. It sinked in so quickly I couldn't believe it! After having oily skin and being used to having this film of oil over your skin in the day to having a product that sinks in and makes your skin feel like silk, I could not have been happier.

The formula has a nice smooth texture which feels light on the skin, not the lightest moisturiser I have ever tried but with how quickly my skin absorbed it, it really didn't bother me. I would say it has some qualities of a serum with its silky texture, just like one of those foundations that turn to powder on the skin but not as heavy. It leaves your skin feeling like skin should without the feeling of a product heavy face, which is exactly what I am looking for in my morning and evening routines.

I love using this is the morning although it states you can use it in the evening too, but with SPF15 in it (another thumbs up) its not recommended as this can clog your pores. Saying this I do use this in the evening sometimes as I have not experienced any problems yet.

I say YES to tomatoes! I'm currently looking into what I can get from the range next. The prices are quite reasonable for a natural product retailing at £11.99, I would certainly buy this again without hesitation as I believe spending more on skincare than makeup is important. How can makeup look good on bad skin? I would give this 4 out of 5 stars, 100% natural would nudge it up to 5!

Have you tried anything from this range lately?

Lifestyle | #BLFW Day 2

9 September 2014
Here is the second part to Bloggers Love Fashion week. I decided to go on day 2 as I wouldn't have been able to leave work on time both days and so I opted for this one. I did take more photos but the lighting was really bad when it got darker so they didn't come out at all. I'll have to think of a solution to this for next time.

Me and Jough decided it was appropriate to selfie in the elevator on the way up to Penthouse for the event, we look like Simpsons! yeah! So you can see a little snipet of what I wore to the event but you can see one of my previous posts here where you can see the whole outfit in all its glory. I love this dress as its the perfect mix of monochrome and colour. I can see me wearing this a lot!

FYT & co were at the event showcasing some of their new collection which I think is really pretty. I love the patterns and the accessories were the softest material I had ever felt. After asking I came to realise they were made from bamboo! I couldn't believe it! Who knew that materials like bamboo could be made into products like this? Its a great way of using sustainable materials without it effecting the world in anyway. What a great brand to have in this country. I love how lots of british brands are coming about now which most people appreciate a lot more now the country is starting to get back on it's feet. Support our country folks!

After having a little nose around some of the brands that were there the fashion show kicked in. The first brand to rock the runway were Vania Couture who are a fairly new occasion dress brand. They make bespoke wedding and occasion wear dresses designed just for you. The brand came about because Vania, the owner of the brand couldn't find that perfect wedding dress so decided to make it herself and loved the experience of choosing every detail so it was perfect for her. There were some gorgeous dresses on the runway so check out their website if you have a prom or you are getting wed yourself as this could be just what you are looking for.

My camera went crazy with the dozens of cameras all flashing at once so these images look like I've edited them in a funny way but that's just how they turned out. I quite like them to be honest, very artsy! I can assure no one has the same images ha!
I then went snooping around the Tweet Boutique section upstairs and accidentally missed the rest of the fashion show but I had a nice time meeting new brands and chatting to other bloggers. Fiorelli had a tweet shop where you had to tweet an image with one of their bags to them and they would pick their favourites to win them. I tweeted them this image with the black bag and thats what I won yay! I was super happy as I never win anything and its a super cute and sturdy bag. I haven't heard of the brand before but I'm definitely going to check them out as all their bags were gorgeous!

On the left I am wearing a Nina Rai couture headband which I think is amazing! I would look so good if you went to the races or something. Its something different from your typical headpiece. I love that its grey (my favourite colour at the moment) It's just too pretty!

Now I'm going to tempt you all with a chocolate cupcake! How delicious does this look? yum! Cupcakes are always good at events as a good pick me up if you have rushed from work or travelled from far and didn't have time for anything, although a little naughty!

I also came across this brand Oxygenetix who were showing us some breathable foundation they had created which is meant to help a variety of skin problems from rashes to acne. This has actually been used on hospital patients with facial scars to a create a full coverage look so you feel more confident without it looking like you have anything on. On first impressions I can say it does make it look like you but with better skin only after a while I could feel itching? I'm not sure if this was my skin getting used to the ingredients or that it's not good for sensitive skin. I'm going to give it another go and report back.

Here are a few more images of the fashion show I managed to get which didn't go too crazy with thr flashes. I really enjoyed my time at the event and I'm looking forward to more in the future. It's a great way to get insight into new and upcoming brands and meet other like minded bloggers too! If your a blogger yourself I would highly recommend you try going to an event yourself.

I hope you enjoyed this post
Catch you soon
